Measuring the humidity has an important role in the understanding of the enviroment around you. By knowing the amount of water in the air, you can make decisions about how to best create the atmosphere you desire, or just measure it for future reference. Wine cellars and greenhouses are among applications that measuring humidity can be useful. By using a simple solution such as the SHT21 Breakout Board, your able to quick measure the relative humidity (%RH) and temperature of your enviroment quickly and easily. The device is easy to communicate with, using I2C simple commands are sent to the chip, which then responds with the measurements. We've even added optional I2C pull ups that can be enabled using the PU (pull up) jumper on the board for your convenience and ease during breadboarding.
